Meet the Eye Doctors

George Gero, O.D., F.A.A.O, earned his doctor of optometry degree from New York College of Optometry and his bachelor of science degree from Columbia University in New York City. He has a special interest in retinal photography and contact lenses. Dr. Gero is a founding member of the American Optometric Society and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
 

Amy Fleck, O.D. earned her doctor of optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, and her bachelor of science from University of Mary in Bismarck. She has a special interest in children’s vision and is a member of the InfantSee program. Dr. Fleck is a founding member of the American Optometric Society and a member of the North Dakota State Board of Optometry.


 

Krista Heil, O.D. earned her doctor of optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and her bachelor of science from University of Mary in Bismarck. Her professional interests include geriatric vision and ocular disease. Dr. Heil is a member of the North Dakota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Curt Wischmeier, M.D. completed his vitreo-retinal fellowship at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He served his ophthalmology and internal medicine residencies and earned his doctor of medicine at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska.
